May 16, Sun.
It was a happy 15-day reunion with our sister Luchie whom we missed when she flew to Canada and was away for five years. This is also the first time we met Peter Yu, her amiable and charming husband, of Chinese and Canadian origin.
On her arrival, she stayed in the Holiday Inn. After a few hours of rest, we met them at my sister Susan's house for the welcome party.

The following day, it was dinner at Cabalen's in Megamall, very good food
The next day, all five of us sisters had our hair and nails done for a new look, very satisfying.

Family Outing at Casanjo Gardens Resort
Children as well as adults enjoyed their dip in the pool of Casanjo's. We also enjoyed the chows of lechon (grilled) chicken, grilled fish, tinolang manok, (chicken boiled in onion, garlic and luya (could you believe I can't remember the English word for luya), fruits like pineapple, watermelon, ripe and green mango.
I couldn't take my eyes off Kayelle, my two-year-old grandchild. She was so tanned because she wouldn't get out of the pool. It was only the arrival of her parents that made her to.

The nicest thing that the five of us enjoyed was when we were checked in at Holiday Inn for an overnight stay. Luchie and the rest of the sisters had our nice chats, just like the old days when when Luchie was still single.
In the afternoon, after the nice chit chat, we enjoyed the pool for night swimming (at night to avoid the harmful rays of the sun, to our Filipina skins which we are trying to whiten). And then a 5-minute sauna.
June 1
The following morning, we had our sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. The food was very good, made even better by the nice togetherness of the five of us.(Don't you know that the food doesn't taste good if you are alone?)
After check out, we trekked to Greenhills Shopping Center for some things worth buying and taking to Canada, then time for snacks. At 6 pm, we met at Robinson's Galeria for our bowling with the rest of the members of the family and then dinner. My brother-in-law was amazed at the way we ate, heavy snacks, heavy lunch and heavy dinner.
On the eve of Peter and Luchie's departure for Canada, Luchie and Peter treated us to buffet dinner at Dad's, on the occasion of our brother Fred's birthday.
We enjoyed the food of native and Japanese dishes. We ate while being serenaded by the singers of 4.
Thank you Peter and Luchie for the grand time. We enjoyed your visit.
